- brababooey 2d ago gender change is when a charactger changes gender IN a story, whereas gender bender is when a character's gender is changed FOR the story. Gender change is "All for one gives deku a quirk that turns him into a woman" whereas gender bender is "doujin where deku is a woman and its always been that way" they are very different
- Bbocchi_Chirk 3d ago What about merging the two of them and creating a 'non-canon gender' tag? The reason for merge is that there are more galleries using the tag for gender change as a part of a plot, rather than something that is used as a setting.

So I already suggested narrowing it down to what I said on my previous comment; any subtags after that can be posted on another proposal instead.

If the current [smell] tag is to be treated as an umbrella term then it would be fine, otherwise the tag itself would be moot. With your points I'm half convinced this tag is worthy of consideration but not there yet.

If a single chapter that was previously a doujinshi was included in a magazine and the magazine is what the gallery is based on, then the gallery is tagged an a manga. If the gallery is a collection from different sources of multiple chapters that were released doujinshi and chapters that were from a magazine then it should be marked as both a doujin and manga.
- minminazusa 105d ago For works that start as doujinshi, but then got republished commercially (such as in magazine, even without any change) then each version had to be tagged accordingly based on the source.
- akashako 106d ago In that case, they simply have the wrong taxonomy. That's why the tagging system was added. Propose the removal of doujin and propose the adsition of manga, since that would be the correct tag. And just to remind you doujin is explicitly 'self published'.
