I'm pretty sure I understand the plot. The last encounter is telling how everything beforehand started. The little note on that "memory erase" thing says "For human use only, may not work on those with high spiritual power" (Spoilers ahead) Ichigo is of course not a normal human, and he has IMMENSE spiritual pressure. So it didnt work on him. Why is it thrown in the end like that? I dont know. But regardless, its safe to say her attempt at wiping his memories would not work, so no sadness is needed!

This is both beautiful and sad to read. I really wished they were together ☹️

I didn't quite understand, exactly what she erases from his memory? Their entire relationship? And if so, then why? The doujin itself is beautiful but I'm really confused with the plot.

Rukia wiped Ichigos memories...that's sad now.
