Also @Stck I disagree. I think them seperating was the best decision. They got in the awful situation they were in together. Page 170 made it kinda clear they only drag eachother down. They have fun while throwing away money, it was clear they way they went was not sustainable. And I even think page 236 is perfection. Those last pages with the quote from the beginning are beautiful as well, so I dont hate how they did that. It's almost like 2 endings

Glad it had a happy ending where they ended up together, wouldve been shit otherwise. Cant believe the reason the author used to temporarily force them apart before the end though - instead of running of with the man she loves and made her happy who rescued her from her rapist father and fills the whole her father out in her heart, she decides to stay and be in an institution so she can get letters from her father? What in the actual fuck. What was with the father forgiveness shit at the end, he didn't deserve any forgiveness. It would've been insanely infuriating if that was how it ended, though those last couple pages were hardly adequate, it shouldve had them making love and getting married or some shit. Oh well, at least she workd hard and goes to be with him in the end.
