To those who still don't understand why the Japanese censor everything: After the Meiji Restoration in 1868, which marked a major political shift in Japan, the government began heavy censorship of Western ideas, pornography and any political writings critical of the Emperor of Japan and government, wanting to control the spread of information. The practice of censorship were carried out "to protect public order 'annei' and the manners and morals 'fuzoku'" in Japan. To achieve these ends, censors suppressed "kinshi", deleted "sakujo" or revised publications "kaitei" they deemed a threat to social and political stability.

Now that was a sweet chapter, but yeah I agree that censoring was really stupid.
