@airbus580 that is a very open ending actually. sugarmilk has a weird way with his endings leaving them in a way you can't really be 100% sure, one thing that comes across is she actually does like/care/love him, how much and to what degree is questionable, but she does seem to care, so if she did kill him, it was because of love, but the fact he went missing also leads that she may have just taken him away and lives tormenting him daily as per both their desires
