I'm looking at the comments. This is PEAK and EVERYONE knows it. I love it. I saw the extra 4 page addition as well, and the implications of what's said and shown makes me want an actual short series or continuation of this. It's so good.

Oh my god. I read this AFTER having post nut clarity, so I was able to take everything in. I've never seen a story so short but so intense in my entire life. The art is outstanding and detailed, if grotesque. The story itself is short but thrilling, and violent. And... "Thou howleth like a lass... Thou needn't play the maiden anymore..." I hope to God I don't starting saying that in my friend group. 10/10.

Saw the continuation of the story, I thought this was a love story, but no, she still treats him like shit and he's slowly turning into a monster. It's clear there is no love between them, at least not the type of love that humans would recognize. She still plans to eat him if he dies, and he plans to eat her if she dies, that's about the extent of their relationship. I was planning on writing a fanfic for this but now I have no motivation.

So uhh... How did he get the new arm? Is that her silk or something?? But then how the hell is he able to move it if its only silk??? Shit gots me too confused.

Why I'm here

She is pretty "human" in her actions that don't involve males (it makes the character somewhat relatable when the plot demands the audience to sympathize with her situation). She just has a lot of arrogance, a sadist streak, and a fake "generosity" in her words (especially when she has some manner of control in the situation). One other thing I'm kind of curious about is how she knows she can only eat males. Was she warned when she became this type of creature (if she was changed into one)? Did she attempt to eat a female and suffer some kind of poisoning? Maybe she's physically unable to harm them because of a restriction in their race? And as for the falling idea, the connection between the silk and flesh is too smooth to be from a crushed limb (and it wouldn't make sense that any limb would be intact in a fall that would damage 3 of them to the point surgical amputation would be required. The limbs also would have been stitched in that case, but the connection is flat, not round)

Judging from the way her injuries look, whatever happened to her was pretty traumatic, I don't think she was injured in a fight but more like she fell. Maybe through a tree and it shattered her legs and arm? I'm thinking they found her after and decided they could use her instead of just killing her. Also the fanfic I'm trying to write is not going as well as I would like, I'm having trouble capturing her personality. I keep humanizing her but when I review her attitude in the manga I can tell I'm not doing her right, any suggestions? I need to get this out of my system.

Amputation doesn't just refer to surgical removal. Removing a limb with a slice of a sword or blow from an axe has a similar name (traumatic amputation), and even if we assume it was the medical version, who's to say they weren't the cause that required it (it would keep her weak enough to control, you see).

A man eating tsundere is probably the most "wtf why am I aroused" thing ever for me.

That's the point, she put to much effort into his silken arm for it to be just for show and he does seem to be curling his fingers if just a little. I have been wondering about it, way to much I'm sure, but what did she use for the bones? Sticks? Did she use animal bones? If he can't move his hand they will have to work together to roll her "joints." There are so many questions! I've decided to work on writing a fanfic about this story since I keep coming back to it. Do a little backstory on how she lived before the story starts, how she was captured, then a little about what happened next. She called losing her limbs an amputation, which is a medical procedure, and not that they hacked them off her which would make for a grimmer story. Was she injured or is it a translation error. It will be a challenge since I'm not a good writer, I do have two works on a fanfic site but their nothing to brag about.

Even if she planned on eating him afterwards, that doesn't require the pain/humiliation of your partner during that act (quite literally the definition of sadist). As for love? Eh, it's debatable. Maybe, maybe not. The only thing I would say is that it's better than the alternatives (eating him and attempt escape which could fail since they're the ones that chopped her limbs off in the first place, or having them provide a new female and continuing the cycle of monotony). And the silk...that's interesting. I'm sure it's probably thickly woven, so it would stop blood loss and allow a bit of support on it (standing up), but the big question is how the joints would work, because she put quite a lot of effort into the hand to mimic the nails, muscle structure, and segmenting of the hand for it to just be decorative.

I'm not sure she's being sadistic, up until she bites his arm off I think she thought she really was going to eat him but then something happened. I can see her chewing on his arm and watching him bleed out and suddenly realizing what she's done. Like I said, she made an arm for him, changed his clothes and put him in a clean bed. That's a lot of work for someone in her condition, more work then she needed to do just to keep him alive. She took tender care of him, when she could have just bound his arm and left him lying in his own blood. She showed a shocking level of concern for his comfort. I think the fact that eating him would make her stronger and yet she restrained herself shows she loves him but maybe I'm just being romantic. I wonder how magical her silk is? Her legs do seem to have some use despite being made of silk, their prob not as strong as flesh but it is enough strength to get her around so his arm prob will be of some use as well.

@Folker46: Not to mention, the arm she bit off was the one his slave brand was on. I'm thinking her decision was half affection and half defiance against the people that enslaved them both rather than a distaste for human flesh. She's an extreme form sadist as well (dealing lasting damage and degrading the person she's having sex with as a form of foreplay) and having someone who doesn't try to fight her rough treatment was probably hard to find, even before they trapped her. Meanwhile, I'm thinking in his case it might be a mix of Stockholm syndrome and that Florence Nightingale effect, as it's not just her need of him that causes his infatuation. It's also because of her kindness towards him (or at least her lack of searing hatred, as even her announcement that she's going to east him has some sarcastic politeness and she said she'd listen to his last words, something he believes he wouldn't receive from others), after never having any form of it before.
