I find it interesting how radically different the story of this is if one has played the VN it is based on. With that context, Nemu is in the right and this is a happy ending. Very odd. Also, I'm pretty sure when a character says "Kei", it was originally "Kei-chan", but the translator got rid of it, since that is what Kanae calls Keisuke, and what Nemu calls Keisuke towards the end of the visual novel.
