I have not even begun reading this, and already greatly alpreciate the author. His foreword is the cause for that, his thought process and logic being exactly the same as mine would be were I the author. He respects the characters, the author of the story itself, and does not want to deviate AT ALL the characters from what they've been established as. He loves the characters, and with his fantasy honestly tries to envision what their true selves would be like, without altering anything in the slightest.
