I understand that. As someone who wants to draw his own project some day, I can see where they are coming from. Unfortunately, I have not yet gotten a response back from the original source, but I'll keep trying.

Thank you for your effort for taking this matter seriously. The artist was not angry, by means, about this, but only wants to be fair to those who actually bought the manga. I'll inform that artist that you have been taking actions to take down the uploads. I have no idea of how this site works as well so maybe we need a few days for the request to go through.

I've asked the site where I uploaded to for a takedown request, but so far no answers. And I have no means of contacting the owner of this site. Please know that I meant no harm when uploading this. This was a passion thing. No money was earned from this, simply a guy who likes this pairing and wanted to share that with others who may like it as well. The artist has my apologies for not thinking things through or asking for permission first, I assure you that it was a mistake and that I'll be a lot more considerate in the future. I'll send the original site another request to have the gallery removed. I am unsure how that works for here, however...

If you can see it now, that the artist would not like having their book scanned, would you please remove the translation and uploads? The artist said "I have put a lot of effort into making this manga, and I feel that having it shared free is not fair to those who actually paid for my works."

That was a mistake. I saw too late that the artist would rather not have their book scanned. I saw this book and I wanted to share my liking for this pairing with everyone else who liked it. For the record, I do not make any money from translating. This is mostly a one-man effort to put doujins to English.

I would like to know if the translator has gotten permission from the artist to translate and upload this doujinshi or not. As I have contacted the artist, they certainly have given no permission for translating. In fact, they had just turned down a request for scanning the book itself.

This was really fun to work on. I'm a huge fan of Maki and Kaito, so seeing them in a doujin together drove me to buy it. Hopefully you enjoyed this as much as I had translating it!
