Shiro looked much cuter as a kid. He got RIDICULOUSLY tall as a teenager/adult. I don't like these shrine god stories in both yaoi and shoujo because it's predatory as hell. Helping out a little kid and holding them to their promise, only to fuck them a few years later isn't a good look.
