The series is really interesting and pretty hot at times, but the consistency of it’s main protagonist (Elf) leaves much to be desired… Like, in chapter 3 the Unicorn made it sound like she was an insanely strong existence in their world and we even saw a bit of the power during their 3 day fight + in chapter 4 when she dispersed the fog with a laser, vaporizing a bit of the forest in the process. And yet, with all that power and enhancement spells/precautions applied beforehand, the rapist spider was still able to break both her arms with ease (broke no bones during the giant slug sex though), leaving her incapacitated and in a very vulnerable state… She would’ve been dead a long time ago if it weren’t for the OP human wingman or her insanely high luck stat. I know this series doesn’t take itself seriously but I wish the author would decide whether she’s actually OP/capable or just an idiot with a bit of power.

And yeah, it's all good, hentai doesn't need to be super-realistic, just thought I'd say a few things cuz there were some changes made to the spiders and such for sexy reasons. Also, did you mean Unicorn Spiders? They're a genus of tiny Oonopids (goblin spiders) in which the males all have a single spike, or horn, on their "head." In at least one species, U. catleyi, the male also breaks off the tip of their palps in the female's epigyne after mating to prevent any future suitors from having their way. Okay, I know you meant the unicorn she swore to screw, but I haven't seen him since the end of Issue 3. He probably skipped town...

I just couldn't resist coming back for more. While most of the info in this comic was essentially based on fact, it's not entirely accurate... more like the kind of stuff you'd learn by watching a half-hour nature special on Animal Planet. The spiders are very obviously from the genus Argiope (probably Argiope amoena) and, while their biology is generally well-described, their mating behavior is almost entirely fictionalized. Heck, the males in this comic were far larger and look completely different than they do in real life. A real spider of any kind would lack the strength to break a limb with its legs, they just don't work like that, and male palps are not shaped like a penis; they're actually shaped to fit into the female's hardened epigyne like a lock fits a key, which prevents them from mating with a female of the wrong species. In some species of Argiope, the male will plug the female's epigyne with his palps after copulation to prevent another male from mating with her. Fun!
