In a way this is a mind control story. Kakeru has been gaslighted into believing that he has to "comfort" Tsubasa. Tsubasa somehow has convinced everyone else that is just the way things are. Despite Kakeru being considered exceptionally masculine and attractive to girls he has no interest in them. The other guys for some reason, except for "hentai logic," think nothing of Kakeru having sex with Tsubasa any time he wants it. Kakeru's mother seems uncertain about Tsubasa's relationship with Kakeru but can't seem to summon the will to object. Tsubasa expression and comments on page 24 indicate that he's let his mask slip and show that he has manipulated Kakeru into this relationship. This story is exceptionally nuanced for a fap book. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and should just go wash my hand.
