I would just like to point out something that kind of annoys me. I will use the two examples in this doujin to explain.
First, on page 45, the first dialogue bubble is translated as, "You shitty megane!" There is a teeny, tiny editor note that says "megane" means glasses. May I ask... why he couldn't just translate it? Why he couldn't just change it to "four-eyes" like every other translator in history does?
Then there's page 51, where in another teeny note, he notes the Japanese word a character uses in one panel. Mate, when the fuck did I ask?
Now, why does this annoy me? Because it's too common. I read one doujin where there were at least 15 instances where random words weren't translated and then there were notes added to explain the meaning. Most people imagine the characters speaking in their heads when they read these. So fucking up their dialogue with words the readers can't pronounce is fucking retarded. Probably weebs that want to flex their Google Translate skills.
