Emilia is definitely better than Rem and it sucks we don’t have much art of her and Subaru. They have one of the most wholesome and enjoyable relationships in all of anime. They are just 2 insecure teenagers who just want to help others but have the hate of the world crushing them every time. People really hate Emilia just because Subaru chose her over Rem. Can you blame him, Rem tortured him for hours and was extremely hostile to him at first. While Emilia had always been there to protect him and she trusted him on top of being way more attractive then Rem. She is stated to be the most attractive person in re:zero and so of course subaru would love her. Emilia also loves Subaru already she just has to realize she does and be selfish enough to take him for herself. She also has to overcome her self doubt. Before you hate on Emilia go rewatch the show and read the novels to see just how great Emilia is.

@obama care The ship wars won't end because the polygamy second wife thing Rem mentioned in the novel is just a joke. The LN narration even says it's a joke on the same page, but it gave some idiots hope that Rem has a chance when she already has her own IF story where she ends up with Subaru so they won't shut up about it and have spread false information. Now a majority of people think polygamy is an actual thing that Rem herself wants even though you didn't exactly see Subaru with a second wife in Sloth IF and Rem even grew out her hair so she could compete with the already dead Emilia. The author has made it plenty clear that Re: Zero isn't going to end in polygamy. Emilia also deserves to have her own route.

Emilia is Best girl for me, but I respect the opinion that people prefer Rem due the fact that I still like Rem. This doujin made it relatively balanced between the simps.
