In my opinion, it's obvious that the maid of this story treats like shit his childhood friend because her humble status couldn't give them an happy ending for them; infact her "master" will have to marry someone, and she knows she can't be her because she's not rich. I also think she doesn't want to have an affair because of all the problems and the very little posivites that will probably come by it (like being to give on their true feelings, but risking to being caught red handed in the act of sex, or having a child out of wedlock, for example). So she tries to distance herself by him with her cheaky and bitchy attitude, to save herself and him by the consequences of a sad and impossible love story. But after they had sex, nothing will be the same. And i hope that the author will give them a good ending. This is a self indulgent comment, so take it for what is it, and not for what you wanted from it.

Oh. A decent childhood friend doujin from Simon after the last one which was a veritable shitfest. Hopefully, he doesn’t bungle that in the second part.
