Also on page 19 MC shows that expression and then we get flashback on Mai getting gang raped. The page 23 Mai says "of course how can i forget because at that time youve become the worst" Meaning he became broken the first time. My theory is thats why MC wanted to wait to marriage cause he had past trauma but then he gets betrayed yet again and he breaks 2nd time doing this. Also hope they throw in the mother in the future i bet it was her on the call.
