its about 5 people 4 of them are survivors trying to fix generators so they can escape while the remainder is the killer that is trying to sacrifice every survivor to a being called the entity which is how they all got there and the killers sacrifice the the survivors to the entity because it feeds on their hope and when the survivors run out of hope they can become killers or become husks of their former selves
