From how I read it, her being brainwashed from a very young age really messed up her senses. She did indeed like the husband, but she felt like everything in her life til now wasn't her own choice. Having sex with the other dude was different. It was something that she did really enjoy as herself and she decides to continue it. Husband's mind was also probably fucked hard when he was a kid by the cult. In one scene in the beginning, we see mother putting a lot of pressure into the boy since he's the girl's fiancee. Messing up a kid's childhood is the easiest way to create broken adults. That probably contributed to him being ED when he grew up. Btw, this doujin is still to be continued so we might see more of husband's side of the story.
