The father is pensive because in the end, his daughter (name is Emi, Akira or Umi, not sure, but most likely Emi) really went for the "kill" with her own brother (the father calls him Yoshiki). And the mother is just sighing out loud "That's why I wanted him to find a wife already!". Between the dialogue of the two is a flashback of their daughter Emi saying "Me? Well, unless it is with my dearest brother, I have no intention of being in a romantic relationship. Huh? No good, you say?"
