Coming down to the ending of the chapter they all (MC/FMC/husband) go to an onsen together. The FMC’s husband is passed out drunk on the couch so the MC and FMC go inside one of the bedrooms and start having sex. While having sex the MC pulls out the rings he bought and the FMC takes off her wedding ring and puts on his. They continue having sex and the wedding ring falls onto the ground and rolls to the door where her husband is standing/watching. It cuts to a scene of the neighborhood moms gossiping and one asks where the FMC’s husband is since they haven’t seen him for a while. The MC’s mom responds that they divorced a while now after her husband failed at work and was indemnified for damages. The FMC and MC are having sex again while wearing their rings. So happy ending for them.
