@stenone while I agree Cold Steel doesn’t have a canon Waifu as of now, Alisa and Emma are very clearly pushed very hard as the closest thing to a canon girl for Rean. The former because she has the strongest heroine traits, and the latter for plot spoilers.

Propping your waifu or even your ship up is fine, but there IS no canon OTP for this series, so don't expect anyone to give a damn about your opinion on it outside of correctly rejecting it for being abusive to any other opinion.

@DANBREAK the problem with your words is that she is not canon. Alisa is cute and I have no problems with her, but while she has been the closest to a main heroine, she is not the main heroine. In CS2, CS3 and CS4 if you do not do her events, she doesnt stand out more than any other member of the harem, and in Hajimari her role or her relationships are not relevant either. The very fact that Rean has a harem with many options, each one of them being relevant in its own way, creating such a divided fandom, makes forcing an outcome with Alisa quite unsatisfying for the story and for the players. I mean, even until the end of Hajimari, being it the end of the Erebonia arc, there is no indication that Rean and Alisa will be together. Of course, there is the possibility that Falcom will decide that they are going to be together, but even so, any other alternative such as the harem ending, staying single, marrying Alfin and becoming emperor seems much more realistic.

I reject this route! Rean can have a harem ending, he can end up marrying the cutest princess, he can have a romance with one of his students, or he can end up single as a free and untethered hero. But I won't accept an ending with Alisa!
