Melusine is way cooler than Gil but saying Gil can't win is BS, how many anti-dragon weapons are there in Gate slaying a dragon is unbelievably common in myths/folklore it's not even funny that he doesn't even need to use Ea. Arondight, Balmung/even the knife Beowulf used to kill the dragon in his myth to name a few and in some myths Hercules defeated Albion proper so Gil could pull out whatever weapon Herc used as a conceptual advantage. The anime/nasu love nerfing gate spam when it makes sense because gate spam is BS and really lame from a narrative perspective, but there's almost no way for her to win if there aren't any plot contrivances. Ea is also BS it's not some beam that doesn't do squat it's literally an "deconstruct x from existence" which means iterations that use a big explosion aren't actually lore accurate. You also don't need to be weak to die to it, Gil can choose how strong it is and here's a thought maybe he doesn't crank it up to above anti-world levels because1/2

I doubt Gil can take her out easily without needing other servants' help. If anyone is playing FGO JP, they'll know that even in servant's vessel, her stats can be compared to those top tier ones and she isn't even in her full Remnants of Albion form. She also doesn't have "weak to EA" traits. And her NP, Hollow Heart Albion, is Anti-world level. So if anyone think X servant can take her out easily... They don't know shit.

I really like Melusine. She is the ace in Tunguska raid at the finale. The most beautiful fairy of all. And an extremely powerful dragon that could make Gilgamesh cry like a baby
