@BZo1480 I feel like we are up on a much longer ride than this. Personally, I'm fine with it (as again, I know what I came to read. I was much more annoyed with the forced love triangle in the beginning. I'm contented now with Shoma's new lovelife though.). Depending on this series's readers, a portion are just here for the Ntr, some for the unexpected twist, some rooting for Shoma's happiness. Again, I feel like it'll be long. Tbf, this is fujiko's presumably first serialized work to an actual comic, and it'll depend on how high this goes on the week it gets released on mechacomics. It also doesn't help Fujiko is an open NTR fan. I remember she had a specific posts asking for recommendations.

One last useless info, still from mechacomic and fujiko's old twitter posts (I'm kinda thankful she only has a few posts). Right now, her main work is definitely her fantasy series (the effort on promoting this does make me curious). The book version of this series (Vol.1) also is consistent on Jp sites an average rating of 4☆s. The strongest chapters based on her twitter thanking the ranking on mechacomics is 10(if the date is right with nov2020, 3rd place), both 16&17 were 2nd place on their release (she posted a screenshot of 17's result specifically on oct2021 with a blurred but identifiable no.1). So, yep the series's strongest streak was from 10-17 and because she's focusing on her other work, the series does feel like its got no direction but gets 5☆ reviews on one or 2 users depending on which site you view

Currently for this exact week this comment is posted, its still a 3.8 general rating and is now 93rd place (but most likely because its an old chapter already & no recent chapter update) Comments for high ratings: readers are hooked with the plot, every cast member is attractive, fresh take of ntr genre (yuki's internal conflict given form, showing Shoma fighting back & new love, Coach isn't using common blackmail formula & having feelings for Yuki is a plus) and no UBs. Lowest ratings (1☆) is obv because of NTR & rape. Average ratings (3☆) because you guessed it: Yuki's indecisiveness, plot is going nowhere (this is the very latest reviews as well), its saving grace just from reading 3☆ voters is the attractive appearance of characters (again, because most readers who stay long enough are aware its ntr consider coach & yuki's chemistry quite high on adultcomicsites. JP Twitter comments are a bit different, an actual balance of liking both men), erotic art/smut, & simply because no UB

Following my previous comment on mechacomics, the highest this series ever got (that she posted thanks on twitter) was whatever chapter was released/reviewed on October 2021 (16 was the breakup and 17 was the first half of hot spring). The rating if its 17 with the release date in mind, again the highest being 2nd place in adult comics by that week losing only to sex is part of undercover work

@BZo1480 can't say I don't blame you for thinking that way on your first comment (I still remember being bamboozled with ch.12 being apparently important/a turning point chapter but it was just Shoma's last attempt of smut solo with Yuki). Still... even as a fan of this series, as with that one fan comment on her latest chapter for this series in twitter, the cliffhanger is Coach offering her something, that's most of our clue. As for your second comment about the rating: its a consistent 4 star rating majority on most JP websites actually. CMOA/Dlsite for example has a general rating of 4+star but if we follow Momoshika's twitter of the actual poll she apparently cares about(probably): its mechacomics. I don't/can't read moonrunes unless google translate does the work for me. Its also the website I found with the lowest rating with this series (a 3.8 total rating but still looking by vote, still a majority of 4 stars of around 200+ voters, followed by 3 stars of 160+ votes, the 5 110+

I've been wondering something. Does anybody have the numbers on how well this series is selling? The plot's basically been stuck in neutral since the break-up chapter outside of the introduction of Niimi, so I can't really see that being a good thing for how it sells lately.

The more i read about this series, the more i feel about yuki's emptiness feeling even though she's also drowning in pleasure. It's like what's the point that author trying to convince? He tells her not to worry about it, and that he was just doing his own thing. He tells her that everyone else thinks of Yuki as a friend. She asks what he thinks of her. He ponders it for a moment, and replies, that she is his most important *friend* he's got. She thanks him.

Summary: A montage shows the daily lives of the students as Coach and Yuki's sexual life also continues to develop. Throughout this, Shoma and Niimi grow closer as Coach and Yuki grow more intimate. Shoma wonders why talking to Niimi makes him feel nostalgic, while Yuki reflects on the fact that she and Shoma did not exchange a single word over summer break. One day, everyone throws Yuki a surprise party as a general thank you for all her hard work and her birthday. She asks who told them about her birthday; Himeko says it was Shoma. They give her a fluffy jacket and shorts as a present, and a matching wristband that everyone else is wearing. This, too, was Shoma's idea. It is now up to Yuki to whether or not keep this kind of rel with Coach cuz we all see she is sinking into lust while at the same time feeling depressed cuz she can't break away from Coach, like a slave to lust.
