Before the Demon Castle, the fighter only say they better go back to reorganize and resupply before charging in, not abandoning the mission. It's a logical decision because they have run out of provision. The reason both abandoned the Hero is because he insists on them keep going head on, that's suicide. They never knew he got that cheat mode, and also nobody knew the Demon Queen is weak and beyond her prime. Also, the story only shows both having sex, but the Fighter did say he's now serious about her. There are many chance along the way, but the Hero tried to turn his eyes away, and that only made him grew even more distant from his companions. They already hang out with him long enough, but when he demand them to charge in on a suicide mission, that's the tipping point. They probably think, "Do you even care about us? The only thing in your mind is the mission."

Kinda confuse how people taking the nun and fighter side in this story. Clearly the warrior was more angry that they would forsake there mission to destroy the demon queen. Also banbanner is kinda obvious the nun and fighter relationship isn’t one of happiness beside sex lol, the fact she willing to abandon the safety of world by not attempting to kill the demon queen just because the fighter would rather fuck around is the most selfish, and shows how shallow she was at the end.

Well... if we take the story as such, an Ntr, the ending is most satisfying, although it could still have been given a few more pages (like when they brought those two and decapitated the guy and then left the girl with the demons)... Now if we go more for the plot... well, I couldn't deny that she is lazy, leaving the typical doubts, because the priestess went easy on the guy... so little love I had the hero... perhaps they didn't consider how dangerous the hero was if he let himself sink because of his anger... among others.
