The world building is also Accurate in a sense. She starts with Akira, in a time where tech is very rare. The Apartment she lived in, old. The panel of the AC compressor unit, its old unit. Is she staying? Is that it? Is there more to come?

I just realized this. I think this book is the prequel and the epilogue of this story. Why? Think about it. After she consensually raped Akira, she immediately went missing.
