So that even if (or rather, when) the kids and other descendants have their own kids, it's less of an issue. Also, it's not clear whether those 12000 people on the ship are entirely the MC and the goddess' kids (though the final page seems to suggest that is the case) or it's 12000 total people between all the generations. That is, only a percentage of the 12000 are the kids of the MC and the goddess while the rest are descendants (grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-...-great grandchildren, etc.). They did have plenty of time on the ship after all, before it reached the new planet.

From the looks of this guy in pages #11 & #12; he seems to be about in his late 20s at most. In page #31 he looks to be in his 70s. Doesn't make the ending 'not' bitter-sweet and I stll cried at first, but at least he got a minimum of a few good decades of love out of his new family before the end...and the new beginning

if the numbers on the stellaris reference page are right he should've aged 4-5 years at most if he was out of that jar for no more than a day at a time. which is most likely cause that kitsune seems to get pregnant in one try.
