I never said she isn't skilled to begin with, what I'm saying is that compared to even just the KoTR her skills with the sword aren't that amazing, according to her. And lol, Nasu never said that. For one, we know FGO retconned Artoria's Excalibur to also having the same seals. Second, Arthur has literally no feats to suggest that he's stronger. And lastly, we know that the Lion King is the strongest non-joke version of Arthur/Artoria due to his power being able to rival Grands and even some LB kings. Normal top Servants are nowhere near that pedigree, the fact that even Numerals Gawain would have gotten stomped by a guy equal to her says as much.

Two things. One Artoria and Arthur are 1:1 in skill and power terms. They are equal because they are one and the same. Second Artoria skill with the sword are praised by anyone she mets, and she wasn't any close to being average, far from that even. If you tell me she being strong due to other things is bullshit. What now? Gilgamesh is the best Archer to ever exist? His bow skills are amazing

@grailed Arthur's abilities are 1:1 with Artoria's, but he doesn't have Avalon(from what we know) and has a very niche skill in place of it. So that actually makes him weaker. And Saber wars aside, the strongest incarnation of Artoria is the Lion King.

@8325 technically you're wrong, Lancer Artoria hasn't turned into a divine spirit like the Lion King has. This is very explicitly the thing that makes them different. So nah, normal Artoria is already pretty average swordsman among top Servants from her own admission. So she ain't beating these two in just H2H when she doesn't even have feats fighting in such a way. She's no Li Shuwen or Heracles.
