He still likes her, but knowing her sex life seems to let him make a stopper so he wouldn't cross the line into that side of her life. Even if it means he wouldn't be her boyfriend, but this much is enough. And she also seems to settle with hanging out with him for fun outside sex (her life doesn't just revolve around sex all day everyday).

Basically, it's just relationship where they can hit on each other when horny (but not necessarily romantic). Although it would have been more proper to at least call/text to check if their partner is busy or not (and avoid things like if her parents happen to be visiting). | Personal interpretation, I think the plot is good. Oota found out this side of her early on, and accept it. While he admit he still likes her, he probably won't be expecting much about romantic relationship and have enough just as friend.
