It irks me all the time when the guy, whether it be an ugly bastard or some bandit leader type, has some overpowered bullshit power that they can use to bring down the obviously op women. It feels lazy. I feel if this was gonna happen, there's gotta be some build up. The bs power of that bandit leader guy and the defeat of the op women don't feel satisfying and rewarding because it wasn't earned. It didn't show that they were a cut above your actual women, it didn't show the guy having trouble with them and them nearly killing the guy. Perhaps the artist doesn't want the "male alpha" to be portrayed in a weak light, but I say weakness has a purpose to be there. Without weakness there would not be strength. Without problems and a struggle, the outcome would not feel earned. True strength comes with overcoming weakness.
