It's fairly obvious she did remember him and had some kind of lingering feelings towards him, but, hey, life doesn't end happily ever after.

The ending let's you know faptime is over. But damn that Mc didn't deserve her.

Perfect bittersweet ending, except the MC ruined most things. Then again, this probably was made for guys to self insert, so it's understandable.
