The featured female character is also fairly cute, which reminds me of Inukai-san from “Inukai-san’s Dog.” She looks sufficiently pretty and her proportions are not off relative to what I can enjoyably tolerate. However, the male lead is exceedingly hideous. It is not simply just bad art or bad quality, there is palpable effort put into making his design as unappealing as possible. I do find the concept of doll linkage to be an interesting trope, but this story takes it another step above to be as disgusting and destructive as possible. Her body is made to be unattractive, and there is the additional description of an increasingly repulsive odor layering up over time. To put it-
