I'll give a sort of synopsis. Currently translating it so I don't have every detail yet: Yukari brings a human to stay at Yakumo manor for something related to closing a gap in the Hakurei Barrier. Ran falls in love with the guy and marries him. This is despite her knowing that the guy is not going to be alive for long. Once the gap closes, Yukari orders ran to kill him, which she does. The trauma from being ordered to kill her own husband forced Ran to block out any memory of the guy aside from short flashbacks. By the end of the story, she has remembered everything. Should be noted that Ran saw the guy as nothing more than cattle since she was aware he was gonna die after fulfilling his purpose, while her last line is saying that she has learned the value of human life. A pity that it took the death of someone she truly loved, but yeah.
