I want to upgrade my acer nitro laptop ram and nvme ssd myself. There's sticker under my laptop that says "warranty void if seal broken" and it isn't covering the screw. Will the warranty void if I add another ram or ssd? I really don't wanna go to service center because it'll cost 10$ just to do something I can do myself.

For an alternative build, m.2 nvme SSD, Rx 6700 xt, AMD 5800x, 16 gb ddr4 ram (make sure you are using sodimm), x570 or b550 motherboard (x570 is more expensive but has cool features), and 700w psu. everything else kinda up to you since it’s just cooling and case.

You should check if the memory is still enough, it might be too much for your laptop to handle. Are you opening anything too heavy for the laptop? You might running an application that is too much for your laptop. Is it old? Sometimes they just get old. Is the battery fine? The battery might be the problem.
