I'm unsure of open pyre ones but I dont think it leaves any human ashes or only minimal at best first maybe some fuel was used but human fat makes pretty good fuel and the clothing acts like a sort of wick to it. Would run 24/7 with people turning the bodies over and recycling the black mess underneath. The camp that turns you to ashes would be Auschwitz part 1-5 which did around 1.3M people. Krems with 50 ovens, each that can fit maybe 4 adults at once. 8 if they're all children. For efficiency it could be 3 adults and 5 children. It's like a horrid game of organized speed stacking. And I quote "A woman's body burned better and faster than men. For this reason when a charge burnt badly they'd introduce a woman's body to accelerate the combustion." Each body averages at 3kgs in ashes so it is more like 4M kilograms in ashes plus the fuel.
