SPOILER Since part 8 onwards haven’t been posted yet The guy in the beginning here is a kind of zombified version of these aliens. He’s the last “survivor” of the underground world that Sophia infiltrated in Part 8 onwards. Not sure if he’s taken care of by the aliens, but this makes the hospital infestation (initiated by these two guards) a different one from Sophia’s hive. There’s also a small plot involving a scientist wanting to experiment on human to put nanomachine into them (for whatever reasons, not relating to the aliens yet), which actually led to one girl capable of resisting transformation for a small amount of time. Sophia is keeping an eye on that one. With some aliens wanting to just show up publicly and take on humanity as a whole, I guess Sophia may use this hospital infestation as a warning for them?
