The reason why a.i art is bad: It only functions via mashing together plagiarized art. Once you remove the human element (no, you're not going to become a 'prompt engineer', some rich guy's buddy or outsourced labour being paid pennies will) you lose all innovation and the medium will stagnate. Not to mention that everyone 'making' a.i art is basically doing free labour for the corporations that hold the rights to the software, helping train it for them so they can turn around and crowd out everyone else.
