The 1st meeting the protagonist passes out from popping too hard of a boner and is transported back home via helicopter by the old man guardian (the helicopter is how she gets things transported to her). The 2nd meeting is months later, during a historical typhoon warning, unable to write off the first encounter as a dream the protagonist goes up to warn her and to verify. She overlooks the masterbation in her home bit as she doesn't operate on common sense (and she's sexually curious), and the guy proposes basically hours later in bed. The next morning the pledge manages to go well despite no prior rehearsal so the word for word part is likely bullshit. She starts exploring his penis. That's the gist of the first 131 pages and where I'm at. His new friend at school just gives him the lore I mentioned below.

There's a bit about these fox girls gaining a veil upon marriage that makes them invisible to all but the person who put the veil (ring) on them which allows them to live in human society with their mate. They get this veil 1 of 2 ways, either by trading in this paper charm they're given at birth or by swearing a pledge at the offering box with the one they've sworn to marry, but both parties must chant the same pledge, word by word. 2 methods just for contingency. Our fox girl lost her "bookmark" 2 years ago. >_>

The fox girls can not judge human beauty, lucky for the protagonist, who was abandoned as a baby in a washroom and later adopted by a wealthy couple who later separated when the wife had an affair. As a result of his father's work arrangement, he's made to move to said region to live with his grandmother. The story of these mixed fox girls are well known on the island (region), so the people there naturally stay away from their abode and the descendents are somewhat of a never-been-seen legend (but they are assigned an empty seat in class regardless). The protagonist tries to take the school handouts to her (as the oblivious transfer student) and that's how they cross paths.

I almost skipped this one because of the cover art. Phew. This was a hidden gem of a story, many thanks to the Chinese translator. Looking forward to the 2nd half. The premise is about a pregenitor yokai fox who can transform into a highly seductive and alluring female, such that any man who looks at her instantly pops a boner. Due to her sucking the energy out of all the male villagers and being a major pain, a monk seals her power (she can no longer turn back into a fox) and banishes her from the region until a time in the future when steel bridges are erected. She manages to swim back to the region by sea before that and is rescued by a male villager. They marry and procreate. All mixed descendents end up girls who share the same power as the progenitor yokai (minus the transformation). Due to this quality - they can't live in human society -the half yokai fox girls are put under the care of a guardian and made to live away from people at the age of 10.

Can someone explain the plot of this book?

You won't be able to grasp the whole thing due to the large amount of text and Japanese wordplay, but this is a masterpiece.
One of the masterpieces of the year for a commercial magazine. It's the kind of thing
dujinshi would publish once every few years.
The author is a pervert, but he is certainly well educated in ethics and philosophy.
