Good conflict, a bad setup. It does this thing where her motivations are revealed right as the conflict is going on instead of establishing it beforehand. Flashbacks are okay, but when those flashbacks involve the actual origin that gives context to the stakes and purpose, I think it disservice, and it sadly happened because the work was intended to be short depsite all the potential. Regardless, the art is great, and I agree with Loveroy that it is reminiscent of Implicity (I wish the blowjobs looked as great, but the angles are very well drawn). The same goes for the premise involving prostitution. The determination of the protagonist is beautifully captured by the transition from page 23-26 (still hate page 24).
