Ya this is a wholesome but still a tad sadge story. Quite frankly this needs a mind break tag considering by the end of the story she is still broken. After all, kyouko never confronts her baggage or reconcile with the shattered pieces of her old self. The woman did what she does best in her position, take the easy way out. Go out with a man who says all the right things ignoring the car crash that will inevitably happen when there is legit confrontation/friction in the relationship. The woman still gives up on her ambitions. When you really think about it Kyouko choose the fake comfort route and will likely pass on the newborn her own trauma and baggage. P.S. From her appearance and what you learn later on, it is implied it was more than just an "assault". She got passed around in an illegal sorority sex ring for an unknown amount of time until rescue came way to late, so ya that fucked.
