As alexxgig says, it is the same school, even the same class. The events in Rarefure are occurring in the summer, whereas itaimai is fall/winter. Glasses girl and blonde girl (Karen with an e) both make several cameo appearances in Itaiamai. I didnt notice and of the guys from Rarefure making cameos. And yes, in Rarefure we see teachers that look like both Suma and Ootosu in the background. But no, Ootosu isnt the one that raped karen - that was a senior student.
