B+, I’ve always wondered what the point was in making siblings look nothing alike(stylistically speaking). Intuitively I always thought the appeal of siblings or relatives in general was that they look similar, so when you see two sisters getting pumped full of alien babies, it’s like watching a two for one deal. They’re not just being raped by themselves or with a stranger, but with someone they grew up with and cherish deeply. Watching such an important person to you get raped with you would add a new level of anguish that I would assume could be amplified by making them look similar, as it would be a visual reminder to the audience that these two have a genetic connection, rather than having the audience remember the two are related because the text said so. Yet my intuition doesn’t match the decision of the author. I’m not saying it’s a bad decision or that I could make their story better, it’s just I don’t understand their stylistic choice for making the siblings so different.
