They were just fuck buddies who hadn’t seen each other in a while, and then suddenly he catches feelings for one of the girls out of nowhere. This had real potential to become a wholesome triad relationship, but it feels like the author ran out of ideas or didn’t want to put in the work to continue the series, so we got this disappointing ending instead.
