For those that didn't understand the fast development in page 8 MC basically quoted the novel he just read/skimmed as seen where the words were highlighted and since she's the author of the novel she pretty much knew that he quoted her book. Due to the translation being piss poor you just gotta use context clues to understand most things unless the translation is gawd awful then forever hold your peace.

Such a story deserves a much better translation than this.

It's Saikai Tsuzuri (再会つづり), Saikai = Reunion (To meet again), Tsuzuri = Spelling/Composition/Binding (of book). Considering the theme of the story, it's ok to be a bit liberal with the translation and go with, "Reunion Prose"; "Book of Reunion" or simply literal, "Reunion Composition". How did it ended up as Unfruitious Reunion?? Unfruitious is not even English.
