Chapter 33 is where it's going to get spicy, I think. From the teasers sensei has posted on X, rapesuke starts having a thing Kanade even when her and Reiji were dating. So this guy has zero respect for his 'best friend', and he looks like he's going to try something when they're on whatever sleepover / trip they're on. If sensei really wants to anger the majority of his fan base, he gives Kanade and Kousuke some bs compatibility with one another / previous interest to excuse them getting together in the present. Like imagine falling for a guy who raped you multiple times, disrespects your husband and disrespects your husband's childhood friend. Kanade has really gotta to be the lowest of the low to not see that and go along with it. She's defended Kousuke from the very beginning, even when he cheated on Asuka originally before the ryokan trip.

It is fucking rich that Kanade has the nuts to be upset at Reiji when she is the one that said "this will be the last time" and was getting her back blown out by Kousuke RIGHT BEFORE she came home.
