@Arlabest Their kid wouldn’t be getting no MHC gene variation, but it would be likely reduced. They both have identical MHC genes, but if they have heterozygous MHC DNA they could theoretically each give the child opposite halves of their MHC region and the baby would have an immune system the same as their parents. Of course the opposite could happen and the baby may have completely homozygous MHC DNA, but most likely the child won’t have zero variation.
