It is rather funny! And the thing is - they shouldnt even be reading him. He is not an NTR author. This is the 9th work by Ryoh-Zoh that i have read, and they all have happy endings. He has never once destroyed a male MC. He has never written a story that leaves the reader with a punch in the gut so it's just humorous that they get upset when it doesnt happen once again.

Karin is not in any state of mind to sit down for a heart to heart conversation, and Sensei is raring to go with the 'energy' drink. The inference is that he then hatched the plan to bring them back together. I would assume that he called Sensei, talked about her current state of mind and walling off her emotions, etc... and that they were going to break through that wall with the theme of the shoot in prep for him to arrive. Probably even asked him if there was something sensei would say - 'the cutest girl in the world'. So Sensei was in on the plan... but i would guess he doesnt know about the drugging, and was shocked to see her naked in that current state.
