An amazing story and it portrays well the various intricacies of what lead to such a taboo relationship. The brother's protectiveness of his sister warped and twisted into a possessive kind of love and despite his efforts is alot like his father was, he may not be violet but he is possessive and controlling and the sister is like her mother passive and submissive, we can tell the sister isn't entirely ok with this taboo relationship but she does appreciate her brother vary much which is why she is willing to go so far with him but I do think their relationship could improve if he let her make her own choices more giving her some autonomy of her own and relinquished his possessiveness and learned to be a more carefree person. Also with the sister getting glimpses of repressed memories it could change their dynamic vary much depending on what she remembers and what order of events she remembers.
