It does got forgotten. They’ve been stuck levelling in this area since the girls are still not satisfied. Succubus girl seems to know the old man (and calls him geezer). My hope is the old man is not actually having any vicious plan and is genuinely only trying to get free lodging; that would go better with the rather comedic tone of this series so far.

Oh that's right, there was a subplot with the hero's defeating a demon lord, thought that was all by forgotten. ( I had a theory the old man was the demon lord or a higher ranking one.) Looks like it's back on that track so let's see where this goes.
