@Vaust , another thing I think is helpful is just getting one friend. Whether that friend is especially close to you or not it doesn't matter. Having just one friend in a new setting opens up a bunch of new doors and gives a ton of benefits. The most significant one is that the friends of your friend will turn into your friends. Growing up I've often switched schools where I knew no one, so I can tell you out of experience that so long as your friend has friends, those friends will become your friends (so long as you are willing to be their friend). Another benefit of having a friend is that even if you cannot make friends with their friends you will obtain a base of operations. Of course I don't mean to say that your friend is just merely a stepping stone, I mean to say that with the knowledge you have a friend you lean back on, doing new things and talking to new people will be a lot easier. Just having a friend can instill courage into you. And I have ran out of words. :(

Surely you already have experienced wanting to do something and then getting cold feet, rationalizing in every way possible why you should stay home, you'll do it next time, it's not that important, etc. This feeling is often the main reason why you can't realize the life you want. I know it is hard, and takes a lot of time, but you should remember this exact feeling and explain yourself every time why exactly it came up within you. Once you are aware of your own feelings, it's much easier to say "I know I want to do this, I know I feel anxiety, I will do it anyway", even though you are scared shitless inside. After a lot of practice, you will get used to this mind of yours and the feeling will slowly go away. I know you can do it, good luck with college!

@Vaust friendship in college is a lot different than in HS. For one you wouldn't meet or hang out with your friend as much as HS, as everybody have lot of things to do. My advice for you; is to not be afraid to try doing stuff. This is your time to try all the things you want to do, to live your wildest dreams. Don't be afraid of failure, as college is the place for failure to happens. Live, try, and fail all you want. In that journey of trying, you will meet a lot of new people. Talk to them, find something similar between you (and as you'll probably meet them in some kind of activity, it will be a good start). Go forth my dude, live, try, fail, and learn. And maybe wank with us sometimes here lol
