Most doujin distributor sites either don't let you see doujinshi (Fanza and its affiliates) or won't let you purchase stuff unless you're already living in Japan. Add that you have the language barrier, which makes the number of foreigners buying doujinshi a fraction of what they get in Japan. If doujin artists are losing any money to sites like this one, it's far from the bulk of how they make their living.
